I purchased a 2005 H2 and I noticed that one of the 10 zinc plated dashboard screws was loose. I attempted to tighten it but quickly realized that the internal bolt mechanism that it screws into was gone/broken. So basically I have no way to screw the dashboard screw in. Is there a part number or a MacGyver fix for the internal bolt so I can screw the dashboard screw down? Thanks in advance for your feedback.

 

I know you can buy the clips at the auto part stores. I don't know if they have one big enough where our giant allen bolts would fit though. Worth a shot. I'll keep an eye out and let you know if I see anything that may work.
