I would not put a 200.00 dollar unit in a 40,000 dollar vehicle, But thats just me.

Yeah I'd put a little more money into it. I have the AVID-D3 from Pioneer and I know it's a tad expensive ($1000) but it looks real nice and works well with the touch screen and navigation. I'm not saying spend alot of money but putting something like that in there might subtract from the look of the car.

I don't think it LOOKS BAD, but what's the quality of LEGACY???

I'd do some GOOGLE searches on them before dropping $200 when for a couple of hun extra you can get a nice Eclipse!!

First of all, yes, it will fit in there because it has the double DIN size. We put in a Kenwood DX 7200 with monitors in the headrests. That's let's say mid class.
Why shouldn't you try the one you chose? IMO it doesn't look bad. And if you don't need navigation why not. The worst case could be that you have to dismount it and bring it back to your dealer.

Not that I am doing anything now but I do want to add Navigation and maybe DVD to mine later. With the aftermarket decks out there, can the controls on the stereo still work or are those just dust collectors?

Sorry about that, my mind was running faster than my fingers could type. I actually meant the buttons on the steering wheel. Just starting to get use to that idea and really liking them.

Yes, you can buy an ADAPTER that will allow the steering wheel controls to work.

I have an Eclipse Nav and use the PAC SWI-X!
