All I will say is that I am an honest and straight-forward person. I don't hide things from anybody, I don't kiss anybody's *** and will not hide my opinions, even if I am the Admin.

That being said, if the problems aren't resolved and the ads minimized by August 1rst, I think I'm going to follow the herd as well. Patrick is a great person and tries VERY hard to get these issues resolved, but unfortunately it's out of his hands and I personally am loosing patience as well which I think I've shown much more of then I should. Two months of this nonsense is enough. When you get to the point where you feel like throwing your keyboard at your monitor, you have to wonder if it's worth it.

If things aren't fixed in 3 more weeks, I may just step down as well. I'll give these guys the benefit of the doubt for now though. Supposedly the new forum and server software is going to be great and the performance of the forum will increase dramatically. That's what we are being told, that it's worth the wait.

My clock is personally ticking (and I don't mean biological clock ). People don't make monetary donations for this. If I burn bridges, so be it, but at least I'm being true to myself.

Forums take money to run from an I.T. perspective, but the ads are overwhelming and rediculous and I have a hard time believing there is a viable excuse for it other then greed. As members of a forum that drive advertising profits of a company, the LEAST we deserve is an explanation from the network administrators themselves and not have them take advatange of Patrick to do so.

That's all I will say for now. Every single friendship I have made on here, whether it be a rocky one or sometimes confusing one, I value. I feel like I'm loosing something I have worked very hard to gain, which is most of my friends on here. This place was more then just a Hummer forum. It may have started off as such, but it became much more then that. I won't sacrifice my friendships I've taken 2 years to build on because of advertising profit greed.

The clock is ticking for me.

Can someone PM or email me where else to post? I've read over at hummerx or whatever, but it seems more desolate than this place. I'd like some info on getting more power from my 08, and have found the most info over at Caddilac Forums.
Thanks!
Sam

Hummerguy- I've searched, and it seems no one here is doing anything to their 08's.
Thanks to those who emailed me. I'll check it out tonight after work.
