Hey guys and gals so acquired a new to me 07 hummer h3 3.7 auto and has just a couple issues.
Cv shaft is needed as we cant get cv boots to fit out here,Plus who know how long its been torn.
Question is depending on the part manufactor there different sizes.
front right is either 24inch 9/16th or the other brand is 25inch 1/4 so would either one work and the brand manufastor just measures differently?

Next question. the passanger window will not work with the passanger side button and then the driver side window would not work along with the passanger side and no door locks working.
I drove it for 2 hours and now the door locks are working along with the driver and rear windows but passanger side still nothing.
Would that be the master switch on driver door?

Also I noticed the dial on the dash that controls the dash brightness does not do anything to the brightness however if I push it all the way up it will turn interior lights on

Do NOT use off brand cheap CV Axles, waste of time and effort. Stick with ACDelco OEM. The short Asian made crap has caused severe problems for others, like when the spline end in the diff pops partially out and creates a front diff rebuild issue, etc.

Does it have a sunroof? Has it ever leaked?

Do you still have the POS OEM Battery Terminal Connectors?

The locks/windows was likely from a dead battery/loss of battery connection, except that the passenger door switch may be bad if I understand your post correctly.

 

Oh well thanks for that about the cv axles. Out here all the shops only use CARDONE SELECT 661417. I called the dealer and they dont even have stock and said about 3 weeks and then want $1145 the other shops using the cardone want $480to 520
So i guess even the cardone is not a good one?

Yes it does have a sunroof,the older gentleman said it never leaked i asked but then who knows.Its minus 45 here today so no rain and car washes are closed locally for this weather haha.

Battery was replaced 1.5 years ago.

As for switches as of right now the passenger window wont open with its switch nor will the driver switch open the passenger window.

The AC Delco CV axles are available on line and on ebay, about $300 shipped. I do not know where you are, but you could have one on your porch in a couple days here in the states. If the sunroof leaked and your BCM got wet, it can do crazy things to your electrical.

The OEM battery terminal connectors are 100% junk, #1 known cause in H3s for electrical gremlins.

 

any recommendations on the battery terminal?

​​​​​​​So is there a way to check the BCM? wheres it located? If i replace it that might solve some of these little things?

 

P.n. is 86G both axles are identicle, took about an hour each to install myself. Again I bought from Detroit axle, lifetime warrenty.
