Default A/ Cooling questions

Hey all,
So I finished the repairs on my A/C unit, pulled the system down to at least 1-2 ATM, filled the system with about 24-28oz of freon and 6 oz of oil, put the dye in it, and everything is working.

When I originally did this recharge, I heard the compressor kick on and cycle so all was well.... (Now given I am not sure if I have heard the compressor kick on since, but then again I didnt spend much time after the refill working on it)

I let the rig run for about an half an hour with the a/c temp set at 60 and the the fan set at 3 bars and it was also set to condition fresh outide air.
The a/c was a solid 60 degrees out with a temp of 90 outside and 85-90% humidity.
Then I put the a/c on recirc (everything else remained the same) and it dips down to about 50-52ish.
Even when we were sitting in traffic for hours... the a/c temp still held steady... not even a bump.
I dont feel any warm spots in the air it is blowing, but here is my question...

Prior to my a/c going out, it was nothing for me to set it at 60 degrees with 3 bars and recirc on and the temp probe would show 45ish degree air blowing out (even in the same weather or driving conditions)
It happened all the time in the hottest parts of the summer (and yesterday was pretty equal to that).

So now I am curious if anyone knows why it wont cool the air to the 45 degrees it used to.
I havent checked the pressure on the low side yet because basically I didnt have time. After I finished recharging/refilling and it ran for about a half hour, my family and I piled in to go see all the classic cars "cruisin the coast" (if you get a chance, ya gotta come cruisinthecoast.com).
Again, the a/c on recirc set at 60 degrees was holding steady in traffic at 50-52ish.

Havent driven it in cooler weather (ie. at night or morning to see if the temp does hit 45), but I wanted to a/c what you guys might think.

Thanks

My guess is too much freon .. By what I found online H2 needs 1.6 pounds which is 25.6 oz .. If you filled with 28oz then this could be the reason ..

Thanks Miami,
I thought I also read somewhere though that with a rear A/C unit (which my service manuals didnt mention, yet I do have blowers in the back) that it required 1.8 lbs.

I didnt think that the extra oz's would make it not cool enough... I would think it would cool more... or am I wrong?

Thanks

Im far from an expert but if Im not wrong the refrigerant pressure is equal to temperature .. more refrigerant = higher pressure , which mean higher temperatures
Thats why when the house AC is low in refrigerant it freezes ,

However my H2 dont have a rear AC .. Either the one I check online for the info
