Default Coolant temp sensor Replace

I'm going to replace the coolant/temp sensor and just wondering if there is anything important I need to know before doing so?
Mechanic is charging $150 to do it and it looks like I can just unplug it and unscrew it, but wanted to see if anyone has ever done this? Don't want to pay the money for what looks like a 10 minute job.

Thanks,

It is an easy job, but most will drain the coolant before they try to do the sensor R&R. So that means you need some Dexcool, more time, and a set of round hose clamp pliers to make that draining simple.

and it is not exactly easy to get to on the I5.
Mine leaked last year and dealer changed it out.
I can't remember the cost but your estimate sounds right
