Default Console Fan light out

Not a big deal, but driving home from the dealer at night when I bought it last week, noticed the middle **** controlling the fan isnt illuminated. Its not too big of a deal because its obvious 0-1-2-3-4 but still, is this simple to fix or easier to take it back? Im about an hour from them so id do it myself if its simple.

Mine just did this as well except its the far right ****. As well as my nav screen blacking out and now my battery terminals needing to be replaced. I'm thinking of selling after only having it 4 months because the electrics are going to crap and that really scares me

If you search the forum you'll find a thread on how to fix this.

These problems you mention can be disconcerting, however I have had my battery terminals and the nav screen blacking out too.
Try a search for these, I got new military style terminals and I ended up fixing the flickering nav screen, which was the connector on the back of the head unit.

What are military style terminals? Where can you pick these up? Trying to find a DIY on removing the nav. It works but the screen isn't lit. So frustrating

You can find military style terminals almost anywhere

Terminal Supply Company - Product Catalog : TERMINALS & CONNECTORS -> BATTERY TERMINAL PRODUCTS -> BATTERY TERMINALS -> SOLID LEAD MILITARY TYPE TERMINALS

Do the search here and you can see what I did to fix my screen
I had all controls working, but the screen was dark. I am convinced it was the connector on the head unit
It hasn't acted up for more than a year now
Good Luck

If those three little problems 'scare' you you might have been better off buying a newer less expensive vehicle.
