New member. Considering buying an 2006 H2 for work in the entertainment industry. I am a specialized camera operator where often I find myself mounted to car platforms. I'm considering the H2 for this reason. My goal was to build railing to support cameras and lights. One of my main questions, how much of trunk panels come out. Specifically the side panels in the trunk.
The other question I have is how hard is the car to weld and graft on railing in/around/through the car to get to a hard enough place to support 200lbs. Also can the 2nd row of seats be completely torn out/ how much space is below them? Sorry if there was a thread that went through this. Just joined. Thank you, appreciate any help.

 

I would say the H2 should suit your needs just fine. If the interior is in good shape you should be able to sell the seats and interior parts you remove.

 

It can be modified to your imagination's content.

 

Buy a good roof rack and hang it off that.
