To consider or not
I have researched myself and read forums for hours but I felt the Hummer community might be able to share a bit more insight into this opportunity
1994 H1 Hummer 4door Diesel. Private seller
-Story goes..and again this is all via phone but was somewhat confirmed by the town mechanic that services the vehicle..
-a welthier couple bought this in 97 from a dealership..it had no more than 1000 miles on it from the dealer as he said it was his "show" hummer he would drive around sometimes to bring clients to his dealership..the couple purchased it to pull a horse trailer ..thats it..they felt they needed something that wouldn't get stuck in grass with a weighted trailer in tow..and maybe to be flashy in doing so...haha..idk..so they sparingly used it the wife stated..it has been sitting in a garage for many years now because they have had zero use for it as they have aged, also they own other daily vehicles so it has been sitting in the corner. i asked if they had ever offroaded and she replied (72yo female)..why yes we have, my husband had it pulling a trailer in the grass many times but thats it..I said no mud or dunes etc..she said no way..so from the initial story, it has been highly babied...I spoke w the mechanic and he said the only prob he saw was that he had to do something to the AC when she brought it in apx 3 weeks ago for a full servicing again because she had decided to sell it..he said if they sit for a while the ac gets funky...but its all working now and he said the car showed ZERO abuse..
I personally cannot go lay eyes on this or drive at this moment..but am sending my sister out tomorrow to drive it and get it checked out again..
Having said that..just hearing my story is this something I should consider..
36k miles on it..**that was the big attention grabber and after she gave me the history and story..it seems like apretty sweet deal for an H1 of this condition..
Her bottom dollar price is $35k out the door...is this fair, too much..great deal?
-interior is great..too many pics to upload

I have a 94 HMC4 with 65K miles that I wouldn't sell for 35K. Sounds like a great deal. Remember that sitting and not being driven can be as hard on a vehicle as driving it. Seals, hoses, lubrication of parts, etc........
I took a HUGE risk and bought mine via email and telephone. I had pictures sent and could tell it had never been abused. Exhaust had no mud baked on it. They said it was just driven around town. They needed to make room for a new land rover. It was a great price at $31K. It arrived at my house the morning I flew in from Iraq. Within 6 months things started to go wrong/I started noticing things weren't right. Over the next 2 months I dumped $3500 in it. Luckily I'm very mechanically inclined and had a father(now deceased) who had over 30 years experience as a diesel mechanic. I did all the work myself with some guidance from him. My point is that any vehicle that sits more than it's driven will basically start to rot from the inside out. If you go for this sweet sounding deal, which I would, don't be shocked if you have to replace things as soon as you start using it regularly. My injector pump went out soon after I got mine. $750.
