Naw, not dangerous at all!! Lots of folks in AR still don't lock their doors unless they live in Little Rock or somethin... Reason its not dangerous is because "We Do All Carry"... Crook or bad guy would have to be plumb stupid or have a death wish to do much here.. Would get shot fo sho!!!

But I wouldn't wanna do it alone just because I don't know my H3's limits yet. This summer we outta get some H3's and head down there. There is another guy from Benton on here that wheels at that Hot Springs park.
I know who your talking about, I think he was the one that posted up the trails and maps to the seline river trails right before you get to Benton. I stopped by and ran down a few of them but didn't have but about 30 mins, I just looked around and went on my way. I'm in on a trip to Hot Springs. I have spent a lot of time up there on Motorcycles (dirt and Streeet) Riding on highway 7,21,23 and others. Awesome biking. I ran a couple turkey runs on dirt bikes up in the area too. I would love to get a hummer run together. I'll hit Hunner up and see if he would be interested in getting one together, I'm pretty sure he knows the area pretty well too. We have several Hummer owners in AR on this site and a couple others. We might get quite a few of us together. That would be cool. Maybe even start our own chapter.....

in Canada the only way you can carry a handgun is with a trigger lock and in a locked case lol.

I'm against just leaving a weapon in a car or truck as they are likely to be broken into and rummaged through for items of value. The best is to always keep it on you and not hidden away where you can't get to it. That's why I like the Safepacker on the seatbelt strap or a crossdraw holster on the waist that's easy to reach from a seated position without moving around to draw and bring to bear. However, I still carry in the car in the same place I wear it on the street since I have good access while seated in the car. Here in Texas you can carry a handgun in your car without any special permit but it must stay concealed from sight.

If you guys look under your drivers seat you will find plenty of places to mount your holsters. It works perfect.

Yea Arkansas is one of the safest places to live... I wouldn't live somewhere if they made me carry my gun locked and in a safe... whats the point? you'd be better off throwing the safe at the crook. lol

yea I'd love to get an Arkansas chapter up and going. I could see many benefits to doing that. Plus it would be a blast wheeling with some guys who know how to work a hummer. I wouldn't be able to get out much until this summer.... sadly coaching football and track doesn't allow much time for wheelin.lol

i guess there's a just a total different mindset in Canada. generally everyone feels pretty safe knowing that, for the most part, only the police are packin'. everyone just assumes no one else is armed so there isn't really any need to carry a handgun. personally i wouldn't feel very safe knowing any idiot can go out and get a permit to carry a concealed firearm. firearms are taken pretty seriously here, if there's a situation where someone has a handgun on them the police are out there with their carbines, which happens very very rarely. here a handgun is either locked in your house or at the range. if you want to carry around a weapon a knife under 4" or steel toed boots is about as close as you get. you can't even carry pepper spray for personal use, just for bears when camping basically. even that has to be under 1 or 2% OC, the stuff we carry at work is 10% for the ****heads. interesting but different worlds we live in lol.

yea we do live in different worlds. i guess it depends on how much you trust and empower your government. I love democracy but i don't want any 1 person (or group of ppl) to tell me what to do with my guns. i mean once you start registering them and letting them give you restrictions its so hard to get those freedoms back and the wrong person can abuse those powers... ex: Hitler! lol

Yep, look back at the history.... Stalin, Musolinni, Hitler, the list goes on and on. All started with gun control, Registry and confiscation.... I'm a firm believer, NRA lifetime member... A country without gun freedom's is just waiting for the right leader to step in and go nuts... It ever comes to that here I am one of many that they will have to pull it out of my dead hands. Ever since the last onslaught of guns laws testing the waters pre-obama I have been buying and stock piling ammo for the pretty decent cache of guns I have. I'm up to 4000 rds of 223. Headed to a gun show in Jacksonville on the 5th... I never go with less than 400-500 in my pocket and pretty much come back broke except for enough to eat on the way back.
