Compressor? maybe?

mine goes off every so often when at a dead stop, is this normal? Is it even a compressor? ty

Is this an H2? Are you talking about the air suspension compressor? If so yes it is normal that it goes off sometimes at a dead stop. Once it has raised the rear end to the desired level it will shut off.

my friends saab 9-7 does that. its kinda loud and not a very pleasent sound. smooth ride though
