I am curious how much wind noise the Gobi Stealth rack creates on the highway? Any feedback is much appreciated.

 

We don't have one, but I have talked to people that have them and they say it's not bad, and you can get the wind deflector with them too. It may even come with it. I don't know. The people that I talked to said after a while you won't even notice the noise it makes.

 

I know on my H2 once I installed all my lights on the front of the rack I don't bother opening my sunroof. The noise from all those lights is ridiculous. Also the wind deflector does nothing IMO.

 

Thanks Lojac. I'm glad someone chimed in that has one. I was just going on what others told me. Was it worse after you put your lights on?

 

I have one on my H3 I love it ! But I do have couple of complaints.it affects my Xm antenna signal ( the rack blocks it) I have it for 6 months it's starting to radel the rubber gaskets wearing out. I'm going to replace them with thicker piece of rubber.
No wind noise to talk about

 

I have a Gobi stealth with PIAA 2100 lights and the windbreak. Not bad noise but it is there. I have moved my xm antenna/welded a small bracket on the rack to assist in reception-- but that is a drawback. No whistling

 

I have one on my hummer with delta lights & wind deflector. You do notice a little wind noise but like others have said after a while you don't even noticed it.

 

Definitely worse with all the lights. Without there isn't much but rounded metal bars for the air to hit. Throw some lights on it and my god.....the noise is insane with the sunroof open. With it closed I don't hear anything.
