Cold Air Intake

Any recommendations on which cold air instake system to get. I have thought about AirRaid, K&N and Volant. All of them look like they install slightly different.
Thanks!

Mileage is better on the Highway roughly 1.5 mpg.

Does the K&N use the factory air box? From the pictures it looks like replaces the side, but I can't tell for sure.

You can get just filter, for about 40.00 and use the stock box if you want, or you can replace the whole unit for more.
You can do both its up to you.
I have just the filter in the stock box $40.00
or you can buy the system a little over $200.
but the system i believe works better but gives you a loud noise inside the truck

Monday night I installed an Airaid intake on mine. It uses the lower half of the factory airbox and a supplied metal frame to build up the sides. It took about 20 minutes to put together and put on. So far it seems to add a little more punch off the line and a great throaty groan under acceleration. I haven't checked the mpg yet. I'm hoping for a little gain.
After looking at it, I almost wish I had gone with the K&N set up. Just for the intake tube. The stocker is not the best I'm sure. I'm thinking about looking for another aftermarket tube to slap on there too. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I don't..As I've said before on another post regarding this concern..
1. The Hole is open to the fender where the original air box was attached = fresh air
2. Driving down the road will sweep any engine heat away from that area of the engine compartment and force through the grille fresh air to feed that area of the intake.
3. If you use a brand that incorporates the original hole in the fender only, then any extra air volume you hope to gain, is restricted back to the original configuration..IMO, NO GAIN.
