Default did not change the TC oil

the lockup tc were talking about is of course the torque converter,part of the transmission.
that would be tranny fluid huh.

not to be confused with tc/transfer case huh

palm to face... you know, I knew that about the torq conv. not sure why i got the tras case in my head... maybe i just feel guilty for not changing the oil in it and it's eating at me from the inside.

Your torque converter unlocks at 38.5 MPH in 4th gear when you are off the throttle. The engine braking you are feeling is due to the DFCO (deceleration fuel cut off). DFCO shuts your engine off by essentially cutting fuel causing your engine to be back driven from your movement through your drivetrain. DFCO is enabled at 49.7 MPH in 4th gear and is disabled when your speed drops below 38.5 MPH. The braking is the compression of your engine slowing you down.
