Default Cluster problems

So my instrument cluster just stopped working one day and I didn't have time to jack with it and just let it be well then it all of a sudden started working again. Well now it's not working again... The lights and turn signals work but the info center and guages do not. I took it apart and didn't see any loose solder or anything else that jumped out and appeared to be a problem. I plugged it back in and now it just displays green bars on the info center even when the hummer is off. Tried wiggling wires and smacking around trying to find a short and no luck. Definitely think it's something internal in the cluster but what could it be? TIA!

Mine did the same thing a few months back. I had just bought my 03 from a Ford dealer and they had a Cadillac dealer replace the entire cluster. Thankfully they covered it under their 60 day warranty because i saw the bill and it was just over $800.

Well I decided to try another cluster a friend had laying around and nothing happened with it either. The only thing it did different was display the mileage which wasn't correct for my hummer. So with that being said any opinions on what could be causing my issues? I also forgot to mention it has a avital remote start/ alarm system on it that also started having issues around the same time. The remote start will turn the vehicle over but as soon as it starts it kills it. Also the locks don't lock and unlock with the fob. The lights flash so I know it's getting a signal but the locks don't move. They work fine with the buttons inside though. I'm stumped...

Everything there looks good. I took them off and sanded the ends and the frame to ensure a good ground and still no luck.

Update I tried messing with it again Saturday night and fixed the key fob issue. Was just a loose connection. So I open the hood and unhooked the batter just hoping it would reset something and fix the cluster. I hooked it back up and nothing... Still not working. I gave up for the night and shut the hood and go to shut it off and it's working again. Sunday morning I go to drop my daughter off at the sitter and its not working again. I'm pretty sure it's a short somewhere I just don't know where it could be. I've jiggled and smacked about everything under the dash around the cluster and can't get anything. Any ideas?
