Default Clunk on Ten Inch Lift with 42's

I've read a great deal of posts regarding clunks on the front end and back end and feel my problem is out of these suggested fixes.

I never hear any noises on turns or general driving. My noise occurs if I my tires drop down in a two or three in crack in the road, especially at a stop sign in my neigborhood, or if I am driving off road. Not off road like mudding or trails, just fields like at the ranch. At the stop sign in my neigborhood its a major clunk. The crack is probably five inches wide and three or four inches deep. When my tires hit this at the same time while im stopping, the tires drop in and huge clunk occurs. Even if it's at an agle and one tire dips in, clunk! although more prevelent on drivers side. Also, if i take it offroad in the field behind my house with just tire rutts from the mower, as it drops in and out theres a clunk.

I've taken it to the shop where i got it lifted and they've tightened every single bolt on the front end and there's no metal on metal marks and the throw on the shocks still has plenty of travel.

I was wondering if could be my CV joints. There isn't any ticking or anything when turning or driving. It drives like a cadillac on normal roads and no noise on bumps, dips, or starting or stopping when i'm driving at normal speeds. It just occurs when my front tires extend at a rapid speed like previously described.

I've jacked it up and hit with a rubber mallet on everything and twist and turned everthing and nothing seems out of order. I've greased ever fitting available.

Thoughts?

Is this an H3 or H2? Pics of the setup would be helpful... And your sure it's not the shocks bottoming out? It might not be a tightening thing but a bushing thing where something could be too tight...

and i'm fairly positive my shocks aren't bottoming out. I go over this small hill in the road at an intersection with my girls and they like me to go fast. It's a smooth lift of the hummer at 45mph and it definitely travels the lenght of the shocks and it never bottoms out or extends too far

And this occurs on each tire independantly. I've run over a some ruts with one tire, then the other at about five miles an hour and clunk. Doesn't feel or hear like metal on metal, but i could be wrong. There are no metal on metal marks under the front end that's visible from any angle.

If it was the steering linkage thats on other threads, would i see metal on metal anywhere. Or any other visible signs?
