do each **** have an bulb that can be replaced or do you have to replace the ****. my fan speed **** no longer lites up ? can you purchase these seperatly or can a led be replaced and how do you remove them?

 

I've been having the same problem. I taped it with my finger and it comes back on. I searched the maintenance manual and only found whole unit replacement. I also checked the parts catalog and only see the whole unit. New is big bucks to replace just for a bulb. I've seen used units cheap, but how long will the bulb last in these? The Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) for both the bulbs and complete units is unknown to me, but I think we may be reaching the leading edge of it on the 2006's. I also lost the lights in the front two window switches on the drivers controls. I know that the speedo has soldered in LEDs for lighting. I've seen them replaced with colors.

All this said and I'm hoping someone has an idea on how to replace them...

Thanks and it figures... It is the first time I did not do a search first. I just jumped right on the bandwagon! LOL!

I just ordered the incandescent solder in bulbs. They should not be a problem for me.
