Hi, I'm new to this site and just got a 08 H3 and love it! Can anyone give me some advice on buying chrome accessories(door handles,Mirrors,Gas door,Hood handles etc)? Any good websites? Hows Putco? Is Billet really worth it? Do they sell accessories at AutoTrader etc? Thanks

 

The dealer near me is going out of business and selling off all there accessories. I can get chrome billet hood handles for $125 shipped to you and they have kits like the putco stuff for the door handles and stuff. They have alot of chrome H3 stuff. I am going there tommorow if you are interested let me know.

Billet is worth it if you get a good deal on on. Have you checked the G Style folks that advertise here.

 

You can trade me! I want all black! lol. I have the mirrors, door handles, roof rails, brush guards, grille, fuel door and step tubes in chrome. I will do a one for one trade with you or anyone. Im in long island NY but will ship. let me know. Im about to just start buying and selling parts on ebay.

 

How much for the fuel door?

 

I have the black roof rack and would love to trade for the chrome roof rails, however mine is not new, been on the roof for about 2 years. I live in NJ so we can meet somewhere half way ? let me know

 

I had a leased 07 H3 with factory chrome handles ,mirrors, and steps.I added the gm gas fill cover and when i turned it in at 36,000 all the factory chromed plastic was in great shape except for the gm gas fill lid which was peeling.I now have purchased an 08 H3 with 10,000 miles on it and it has the plastic chromed covers on the mirrors and handles as well as the gm gas cover and all of it is starting to peel and wrinkle up.I have purchased the billet handles and am looking for factory chrome mirrors and am going to replace the gas fill lid with a alum. one and if this goes to hell the black plastic will go back on. Has any one else had the same problems? Damed if you do and black plastic if you don't.

I have two sets of chrome running boards, one set is an aftermarket brand, the 2nd set are GM running boards. The aftermarket boards are in good shape, a couple of scuffs, but no scratches. The OEMs are in good shape, however the drivers side board has a small dent in it.

I acquire spare parts for my truck as I find them, and bought these some time ago as I was considering painting them with my son, he had an idea of doing something cool with graphics on the boards. But that never materialized and they've been sitting in my basement for a year or so. I have been thinking about selling the boards for a few months.

If you are interested let me know. I am located in Staten Island, near Brooklyn, NYC, and New Jersey. I'd prefer to sell all four at once, and not piecemeal them out. I can take some photos and email them to you if you are interested.

Due to their size these would be expensive to ship. If anyone else is interested and is geographically nearby, I can move this post to the classified section and post photos.
