the parents of our kids told us wed. that they were gonna fight us
for custody and that they already have a lawyer.
they asked us not to fight for custody because it will cost them more
money in lawyer fees.
the 11 year old asked me to fight for her cause she wants to stay here
because her parents fight and make her take care of her 3 younger siblings
like give them baths them fix them dinnerand clean the house.
my wifeand I love these kids like they were our own and
we have decided to fight .. now the parents are mad im mean irate
so the next few months are gonna be hard on us and the kids..
the kids were removed from the home because of elderly and child abuse.
so if yall would just keep us in ur thoughts and prayers because
yall know how our court system work.

Best of luck to you and the wife, and kids. Just remember that what you're doing is for the best interest in the kids lives, and isn't just something personal against the parents. I'm sure their parents have thier great moments, but over all, they failed those kids somehow.. and they (the kids) don't need to be let down again.

Really??? I don't understand these "PARENTS"!!!! Correct me if I'm WRONG(as I have no kids), but shouldn't they be more interested in the WELL BEING of the children!!!! OBVIOUSLY Butch, you and your wife are doing an AWESOME job if the 11 year old WANTS you to fight for custody!!!! For Crying Out Loud!!!

You are in for a battle...good luck to you all andbest wishes foryour desired outcome...your hearts will lead you in the right direction. The bottom line here is what is best for those children and everyone should take that into consideration! I don't know about where you live, but here in FL, conditions (or circumstances) have to be pretty BAD for children to be removed as the push is always to have the children with their natural parents, regardless of living conditions! (So much so the system has even lost a few kids due to this absurd way of thinking!) Being with the natural parents is NOT always the best thing! Best of luck to you and your family.

Like you said our court system suck try going for custody when the mother tried to kill her two kids 5years old and 1 had police reports Dss reports but they felt sorry for her and gave them back to the mother Just because her boyfriend broke up with her. Not the father of the kids.The judges suck. WhenI visit Italy some house had two gaurd at the end of the driveway with machine guns we ask the tour guide whats that oh the judges live their they get killed so they need protection.Wounder why.The 11 year old might be able to speak for her self.The court can point someone to talk to her.Good luck.
