To get plug wires off once you can spin the boot on the plug use a prybar on edge of heat shield and lift upwards towards prybar on boot then pry the plug wire off, should pop right off. Sorry for the late reply.

Hi Humtech,

Tried that. Did not work, but I managed to spin the cables around a few times, and that did it. Loosened the boot from the plug. Then just pulled on the heat shield, and Presto!
