Default Check Engine Light

The check engine light has come on for the first time and Onstar said to get the vehicle to the dealer immediately. My wife is on the way now. Will the dealer give us a hard time about the addons I have done: Borla exhaust, Rancho Lift, K&N filter? We only have about 20,000 miles on the H3. If they have to keep it overnight should we expect a free courtesy vehicle?

Good luck and let us know what the problem was...

FYI..The Magnuson Moss Act is about add ons and aftermarket equipment and protects you from the dealer declining service because of such items

No, they did not. When my wife called and said it came on I told her to call them. Onstar directed her to a dealer that was not even authorized to work on Hummers. She wasn't happy. She did not notice any difference in the way it ran. When she got up this morning to take it to the dealer the engine light did not come on. Onstar told us that it could be 30 different things wrong with it. They were no help at all.
