So my Check Engine light came on last night. Engine oil is fine, oil pressure is good. What all trips this light? Specifics would be very helpful. Are there any serious
things to be checked or is this just an irritation. I have a 98 open top.

Evan, do you have access to a Scan Guage II? If you can scan it and post the codes it kicks out we can help you. The light could be a myriad of things from oil, engine temp, coolant issues.......

 

many things can trip the light... you need to find out what codes that are being set.... if you don't have a scan gage many autoparts stores can read codes for you.... otherwise have the dealer pull them for ya....
