Default Check Engine code P0033

I got a scanner at Walmart.

Plugged it in, saw code, then cleared the code.

So I am guessing at what the code was but I think it was P0330.

it said "P0330 Knock Sensor 2 Circuit low voltage (Bank 2)"

Is this something that may cleanup with Injector cleaner run through the fuel system?

Bob

A knock sensor to my understanding is to monitor the camshaft or the crank as it spins. I'm not a 100% on this, but I do know that injector cleaner will definitely work. It's like an O2 sensor, when it says low voltage it usually means the sensor is bad. I found that going to the autozone website and looking up the parts they also have pictures with it on where it is located on the engine, so that should give you a good idea on what to look for.

The Knock sensor is under the intake and a pain in the butt to change. Mine was acting up for awhile before I changed it(about 6 mounths). The bad thing is I belive it cased my catilitic converter to go. They go bad from water/mud settting down in the intake valley. It's a bad design from GM on the 6.0 and other engines. Took me about 3 hours.
