Default Cheap Accelerometer/Yaw Rate Sensors any good?

Howdy all; I recently purchased an '07 H3 and not long after the ABS/Traction Control went out, and the codes point to a bad yaw rate sensor. Seems easy enough to swap, but before I replace it I'm hoping someone can advise whether or not the cheaper after-market products are any good. AC Delco costs $200+, but there are some on Amazon and/or Ebay in the $30 range. I'd appreciate any words of advice anyone can offer. Thanks!

Post the codes you got. Never heard of the yaw sensor needing to be replaced.
It is usually an abs line or sensor.

It would NEVER be a good idea to buy a the cheapest garbage part to replace the OEM ACDelco part just to save $$. There is a reason cheap parts on line are cheap parts.

If you follow the "do it right the first time" motto, you will not have to redo the same repair several times to learn why that motto exists.

As Taint said, post the actual code(s), what you plan on replacing is not a part that fails very often. I would check the connections and wiring to the sensor before changing it.

The codes are C0186 and C0196; when I clear them the immediately return. I'll be sure to check the connection and wiring before I order a replacement. The occurrence of the first time they tripped happened when I went over a rough hole in the road; maybe something got knocked loose. I also have the sunroof/water drainage problem so there is a chance the floor got wet at some point. From what I understand that has caused some to go bad for other owners.

Have you tried what Doc said and check the connections and clean out the gunk, first?
Wet floors can be caused by a sunroof drain line leak also.
