I had a self anointed H3 expert tell me that the CE was only available with the base interior. I have one with the LUX interior and was wondering if there are other CE owners out there with the “leather” LUX interior! Also, should we start a CE thread. I get a lot of comments/ questions when filling up with gas etc..

I've been watching the used CE market since last June. I've come across 6 in that time, but there were probably some I missed last year since I didn't start to look hard until the beginning of this year. Of the six, four have had the leather interior, Monsoon, etc. and two had cloth.

Interestingly, during my search I've only come across one 09 Alpha Offroad (Adventure), and three 10 Alpha Offroad (Adventure) models. Seems like the unicorn might actually be the '09 Alpha with the Offroad package.

 

Here’s a new listing on Facebook, which brings the tally to 4 leather and 3 cloth.

 

IMO, leather destroys the theme, like wearing a suit to go hiking!

It took me a long while to find mine in Carbon Metallic Flash.

I had to go farther from home than I wanted and it took well over a year to get a line on one worth grabbing.

 

CE came with cloth and other base items. Options included Leather, Chrome Package and others.

Not a cloth fan myself. I wheel and it's hard to get the dirt out of the cloth. Leather wipes down much easier.

 

I wonder how many were truly ordered by customers as opposed to dealer orders to spec on their lots?

I bought my 09 H3 Championship this year and noticed that it does have the Leather Seats. I believe it comes with a package which could be a add on.
