So we've had 3 snowstorms in the last week and 1/2. Last night's was the worse as snow and wind made for drifts 5 feet high closing many roads and businesses. So the wife and I had to go to a friend's house close by to check on her and on the way we come upon a truck unwilling to back-up in the one lane snow covered road(what a dick!), as I was further along than he was, so it was less for him to back up. After about 30 seconds of staring at each other, I looked and pointed to his left, nailed it into a 3 foot snow bank in 4-high. I think the guy in the Ford thought I was crazy, as did my wife("You're gonna get us stuck!" in my ear). Well The H3 plowed through it like it was nothing! Thank God for the Off Road package and the extra ground clearance and big tires!
What Fun it is to ride and sing a Hummer song tonight!
Thank God for gas guzzling 4WD's!
Oh yeah, didn't see any Prius' out there either!

I also have the adventure pkg. and bigger feet on my H3. At the tail end of a recent 14in. storm(3ft.drifts) I hit a massive empty parking lot in Morton Grove Il. for an hour, going through it like a hot knife through butter. What a fun rig!!! I cant believe folks are getting stuck with their H3's. Bigger tires and the beefed up susp. that comes with the adventure pkg. is the only way to go IMHO.
