camping is FUN
Ronnnie's a guy i used to go hunting with before i left PA. kinda lost his mind, we found his dad on the opening day, after shooting his first buck in 3 years, dead on the ground. we all kinda stayed away from him during deer season after that.
I wouldn't know what that's like, because my wife is insistant we buy a RV or Camper Van instead of my preference for a trailor. I was VERY close to buying a Dutchmen(man) or a FunFinderX, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Gotta be able to do stuff while driving. DOH!
on the first night of their camping trip shorty andhis wife started to have sex in the middle ofthe dark forest. After about 15 minutes of it, shorty finally gets up and says, "Damn, I wish I had a flashlight!". his wife says, "Me too, you've been eating grass for the past ten minutes!"
that's some funny chit there . . . . . . .
HG, maybe tell your wife how a trailer is far less to insure and register, and if you get a motorhome you'll need one big enough to tow the H3 with. whereas, if you get a trailer, you could get one that fits the 2 of you just fine and can be towed by the H3. you may have already used those arguments, but thought i'd pass along some ammo just in case.

I tried to explain that to her. I appreciate the feedback. I told her if we get the trailor it will be 10x less money and trouble, and we can park and drive anywhere we want, whereas the campervan we won't really be able to take it anywhere off-roading.
We've wanted a RoadTrek for a long time, but the trailors are starting to become more appealing to me, especially the FunFinders. Those things are just awesome for what they can pack into a little package.
Also, when you go the RV shows here in Chicago (probably anywhere) they give some steep discounts for the show.
I'd like to have something in the next 2 years or so, but I think she needs to experience it first to like the idea. I assume you can rent those things right? There are RV rental places out here, but I never saw any with trailors.
