Hey everyone... Again... I was just pondering under the floorboard and found two cables, LOOSE!

Can someone here help me identify them and where they should go?

 

I have them too. I was told that they are for the OEM offroad lights and roof marker lights. I'm not sure if this is correct but you'll notice that there's nothing to plug them in to. My truck still drives so I'm not too concerned about them

I wonder if someone with the off road lights and markers can chime in and confirm... If this is true, I'll be set to go when I get to those two mods!

 

Can't tell you exactly what the plugs are for because I don't know the model/year of your truck (could be locker switch, side air bag, etc.) But, the group of wires that are taped off (includes the orange and brown wires) in you picture are the lower grill fog/roof light wires which are simply a set of 6/8 wires that pass through the firewall. If you look in the engine compartment you will see the other end of those taped up right on the other side of the firewall.

 

I'll have to look into that... tomorrow...
