Cabin air filter

Default Cabin air filter
I have a 2001 open top with 50k miles. The drivers side cabin heat is AWEFUL. I was wondering if there was a cabin air filter and if so where is it located?

From my experience in military HMMWVs and the H1 I own, the drivers side is always lacking in the HVAC dept. But Im not sure about the cabin air filter though. sorry
