I'm just curious if anyone else has experienced this problem. I have a 2003 H2 that is supercharged. Bought it about 2 years ago and every summer when I try to use the a/c the belt just rips in half. I know it's most likely not the torque of the super charger but just curious if anyone else has experienced this. The a/c does work for awhile. Maybe about a week after a new belt is installed but then rips it apart again.

 

Sounds like the a/c pump is starting to go bad, probably a bearing.

 

Is your belt tensioner pulley seized? Maybe locking up and burning through the belt.

Replaced both of mine this summer
