Buying an H3.. Is there a year to avoid?
I've heard on here several woes from early model year 2006's. I have a late 2006 model, (was actually built in 06) and had very little problems. It did have the head replaced before I bought it, and a few other minor warranty issues, but it's a solid truck, and gets mistaken for brand new all the time.
I would look for an 07 just for the warranty, with any used car, you never know how people treat them, and even if you only have 1 year of warranty that should be enough time to find the bugs as I did.

Don't know if you looking at private or dealers but my 2 cents would be an 07 that has come off lease. Generally speaking, they are treated a bit better than vehicles bought outright and traded in. My 06 was off lease and it was basically flawless. When I get rid of this in 2013 it will be for an 2010 Alpha because the mpg's are not that much different than the inline 5's.
