Default buying an h3 with 90000 miles

I have a chance to buy a 2006 h3 from my uncle, it has 90000 miles on it and it runs perfect. Is this to many miles, how long do these engines last and what problems mite be on the way. I am getting it for 8000 dollars.

Buy it! 8k is a steal! Switch the oil over to synthetic immediately and make sure all the maintenance is up to date. You shouldn't have a problem as long as it has been taken care of. Nice buy IMO!

I might buy it. Is the engine made by gm. Also we are coming from a 98 gmc yukon to an inline 5 cylinder engine. I do realize that I will be getting better mileage and all inline engines usually produce alot of torque so pulling our aluminum 18 foot jet boat shouldnt be a problem. I havent seen it yet but he says it books for around $16000, his friend quit making the payments on it and he wants to get what is owed. He said its white and has an automatic transmission.

one more quick question, does the rear windows roll down all the way. From some of the pictures i've seen they look like they only roll down part way cause of the curve in the door for the fender.

If I had the chance at something like that I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I'm looking for something with under 60k miles and a rear locker, but at that price you can add a rear locker and anything else you want, put $5k in a "repairs and maintenance" fund just in case, and still have a great deal. For comparison, there is a local H3 being sold by a dealer with almost 81k miles and is advertised online as an internet special for $18,477.

If you're still not sure, just go drive it around. He might even let you borrow it for a weekend or a week.

Sorry to go a bit off track, but I gotta ask: Private seller or Dealer? Year? Miles?
