Default buttons on cd player

I was wondering if anyone has had this problem.See the buttons i use the most on my cd player is either the button to select what song i want and the band button.I just noticed today that the buttons that i use the most which are black on the cd playerare turning white.now i know it's prolly justthe buttons i usea whole lot since i do go from one song to another or switch from cd player to radio.just wondering if anyone else's buttons they use the most on there cd player are turning white.

Dealership replaced my radio after 15 months because of the buttons - no questions.

Mine's doing it too. Dealer should replace it under warranty, I just haven't bothered to take mine in yet.

Mine are fine right now...I keep a coat if ICE on them to protect them....

Anyways..What about the replacement unit?...I'm afraid the probelm won't be fixed, just replaced with another one that will start doing it again in a few months..

yeah i'm glad i'm not the only one having this problem.that kinda sux though after you pay this much for one and mine have started fadingand it's almost been a yearsince i've had it.i really don't want to drive to memphis which is a 100 miles from where i live to get this replaced, cause if i do it will do the same thing.i thought about getting a little bottle of black paint for model cars and touch them up and again i think it will fade after a while after doing this,so i'll prolly just leave it alone.every vehicle i've own i have ran into this problem but it was like after a 2 or 3 years not 1.

something like this should be replaced at ANY GM dealer. The radio is not hummer specific and cross brand repairs are done by GM all the time. Might want to call a regular gm or gmc truck dealer if there is one closer to you than the hummer dealer.
