Default Built "HUMMER" Tough? (Wreck Pics)

this happened about 3 months ago, here's some pics of the wreck i was in with my H3.

this happened right outside of school. it had been raining and the streets were fairly slick. I was leaving one day and about 1/4 outside the school entrance is a driveway to a residential neighborhood. For some reason we are not allowed to make left hand turns into school so people go to this entrance and pull u-turns to get back to school (we have 2 parking lots so people are trying to get from one to the other). The car in front of me was stopped with his blinker on waiting to make a left into the neighborhood so that he/she could pull a u-turn to go back to school. I pulled up and was at a complete stop about 5 feet behind him. i looked in my rear view mirror to see a Toyota 4runner (96) flying straight at me. i realized he wasn't gonna stop when he got about 20ft. from me. i saw it coming so i braced and slammed down on the brake to keep myself from sliding into the car in front of me. well he hit me. it was a pretty hard slam. The guy who was driving the 4runner was a sophomore and had just gotten his license about a month before. he said he was going about 40 and slammed on the brakes, but b/c it was raining he just slid straight into me. he was going at least 30 when he hit me, if not the full 40mph.

pics of his carnage...

eedless to say his car was totaled. as you can see from the pics, the only damage to my H3 was the bumper being bent in and pushed up into the driver side rear corner. we had them replace the entire bumper and the driver corner. id say i came out of that pretty clean considering how fast he hit me and the extent of the damage to his car.

one last picture from the side to see how much the bumper was moved.

holy crap. Thats really impressive! I had a really minor accident 6 days after I got my car. Just sitting at a stoplight when I heard a click noise and a nudge like the car had gone into 4 low... check the mirrors and I could barely see there was a little silver hyundai. I get out and noticed that he managed to put the nose of the car under my truck. After i stopped screaming at the old man behind the wheel in murderous tones I had him follow me to the gas station that was a few hundred feet up the road. I inspected everything on my car and the only damage was to the wright hummer trailer hitch and to my license plate frame. I had him give me $40. I think the old man was high or something. When he went to the ATM I really wanted to kick in his grill, but found that the hummer had already punched into the radiator through his grill and ripped his hood up. These cars are really durable.
