Default Bridgeport TX Opening Off-Road Park

FYI - Northwest of FT Worth, TX the town of Bridgeport (US 380 & SH 114) is opening an off road park this coming spring in an old rock quarry. Local tv did an interview with folks setting it up, here is the link

Looks like it has potential.

I also found contact info for the person from TMTC who is organizing the work days. Do we have enough interest here to volunteer a group for a work day?

Well that's just great !

Another place to wish I was at instead of working ! ! !

Seems like Texas is getting more and more parks these days....

I think that makes four that are 3 hours or less from the DFW area.....

I guess Shiloh is only three hours away, but it always seems like it takes longer than that to get there.

Trinity River in Arlington AKA "360”: Be careful when you go to investigate. I haven’t been in probably 5 years. I got tired of avoiding cops. You can as a cop and they'll tell you its ok then an hour later when you try to leave they'll question you about every stolen vehicle they ever found down there and if you're lucky you won't get charged with trespassing. Whatever you do, DON'T enter or exitfrom 360.

I'm nervous about the Trinity area too. My son told me he rides his 4 wheeler down there sometimes and I warned him about what I've heard over the years, he lives in Euless and said he accessed it by his house up north of there. Another buddy of mine has driven his truck & dirt bikes down there and he said he's been hassled more than once and absolutely don't go near Hwy 360 even though there's some tasty looking hill climbs right there.

Thanks for the other sites Mark, I'll have to give'em a look see.
