Hi All,

Hope everyone is well! I need new brake pads for the hummer and have had two mech's take a look. The one reckons new pads and rotors and the other only pads. The former says there are cracks in the rotors which I can also see and suppose this is not normal while the latter insists that only pads will be needed. Any advice would be good and should the rotors be needed, what type should I get - I see there are the OEM's and some new high performance kind?

if the rotors have cracks I would replace them. OEM has worked well for me.

 

I found a place that said they can turn Slotted rotors, so I think i will go that route Now I just need to find Brake pads. I want the same performance as the stock pads. Any updates on the bendix pads performance /similarity to stock pads or should I address this in another thread??
