Brake job nightmare

I have an 07 H3 with 191,000 mi. Just replaced both front brake hoses, calipers, rotors and pads. Getting all kinds msgs on the dash. brake fluid, stability control, traction control. Both the traction control and brake lights are on in the dash. The brake fluid level is good. I tried to reset the computer by disconnecting the battery (for 30 sec). I have a OBD reader and tried resetting any codes...there are none. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Read up on the proper way to bleed the ABS system. Also check the ABS sensors, connections and wires.

You left air in the hydraulic system.

Ok, thank you. I will give it a shot.

Hummerz, the brakes do seem to be too soft. With new brakes, they should be tight. Thanks

That was it boys. Air in the lines. The RF bleeder was sucking air in through it's own threads. We got done. All dash lights off...

Thanks Again!

PS. Disconnecting the Battery doesn't reset anything. The H3 flash based memory stores the last 300 ignition cycles regardless of power or no power.

Glad you were able to get the air out.

Nice work.
The best part of diy, there was a problem, and you received an error message, and in your case, traction control. No codes=No electronic failure.
Traction control found a variance in 1 of 4 wheels when you were braking on your test drive.
You found it and corrected it, and saved yourself a lot of money. No lights, stiff pedal, you can drive safely now.

Excellent!
We like it when owners come back and let the rest of us know it worked or not. :D
