What's a beadlock Is that where you have the wheel and this ring around the edge of it with small bolts going through it that attaches it to the edge of the rim?

 

With a typical beadlock, the outer edge of the rim is modified and the ring bolts to the wheel andclamps the tire on.

On a two piece beadlock like these, the wheel is as the name implies, two pieces. The front 1/3 including the the face bolts to the back 2/3. An insert is placed inside the wheel between the two inner beads of the tire. An "O" ring is used to seal the two pices of the wheel. When the bolts are tightened, the tire is pinched against the insert.

I got a chance to look at them in Moab. They were on the H3T. They do look nice, but I don't really like the look of the black bolthead covers. And they do stick out past the rim edge and had gotten pretty chewed up.
