Default on board aux air

Hey guys,

im just curious if i can see some setups on how you guys have on board air? I have been using a pac brake 625 setup for our senior design setup but it is quite loud for an on board system that would go inside.

what it is manu wise:
where its mounted:
Do you use it often:
would you suggest getting one:

I would use it for airing up tires after offroading and for an air horn setup if i was going to put a tank and stuff in an h2. I would just assume carry a small one to do it but they are quite slow when running big tires.

Any thoughts?

Get an H2 with the adventure package and you wont have to worry about it

I had air bags in my escalade. I didnt like it what so ever. I drove through a snow storm in vermont to get get to massachusetts the auto ride tried to level itself the whole way minus me driveing through 2 feet of snow and dystrying my air ride system it cost about 3k to fix so i trades my lade for my hummer and never went back. Unless the autoride system is tuned better for the h2's i would hope so given the ruggidness of the vehicle. But its your choice. Oh yeah usually the compressor is at the driver side rear tire.

Mine were factory and tried to level itself out all the time well note that i took my escalade off roading did more damage than good. So when i got my hummer i opted out of the adventure package.

I have 2 200psi viair systems with 2 5gal tanks mounted in a tailgate box on the sunroof insert of my gobi.

I'll take some pictures in the daylight. It airs up my 41's quickly.

That would be great muddy! It looks like the viair stuff is good quality, i just bought a pressure switch made by them yesterday and got it this morning for my senior design project. pac brake seemed a bit sketchy to me after a few contacts with them and trying to get info on how their pressure switches shut off and on. They could only give me +-10 psi on their switches either way.

not good imo when we are talking about 135 psi shut off and 110 kick in...

i bought a 85-105 switch from viair in hopes to lower power consumption for our water filtration system Senior design project.

Ill def have one in my h2 for the off roading and such. never know when you need to either pump your tires up or help someone out that is in need.
