I have the stock navigation with bluetooth and I understand these are separate units. However, today I received a call and on my navigation screen it said "Bluetooth" and then had the phone number of who was calling me under it. That was the first time I saw it and it doesn't do it anymore. Anyone have any ideas as to how this works? Does it have to be switched on or something?

 

Not sure Jaydawg, I don't have nav, but when people call me or I call them the number shows up on the radio screen where the station usually is.

 

I have the 6disc monsoon but I see the bluetooth msg when when it's pairing up after turning on the truck on but I've only seen the number during a call it might flash BT at the begining but I've not noticed
