Pleanty of members have body colored grilles. Black on black looks mean. You can order a painted grille from GM suppliers and then fleabay your old chrome one too.

Doc Olds is right on
I bought a GM black grille to replace my factory chrome.
I ended up selling my grille to a guy from this forum
Painting your chrome grille is no easy task, considering your have a chrome over a plastic (PPO) grille. In fact to get any paint to stick would require a serious paint shop and as much cost in labor and materials to equal the cost of a new colored grille

I'm going to get mine LineX'd... much more rock chip proof than a painted one.

Just installed a factory-painted black grill on my black H today. Totally de-chromed (except for badges). Finally got the look I've been going for.

Got the grill for $300 shipped (free shipping through April)
