Between lift kits???
Wassup yall!!!!
I have a 2008 h3 Alpha, and want to make it different.
So I was thinking a lift kit, and as i did a little research only found two
The tough country one and ruff country one which one is better? ( its just for show, and maybe occasional mudding )

Thanks Tainter, so im gonna go with that kitm while it has the 500 rebate. Now for the rims i was thinking mickey thompsons, and tires MTZ radials, but i was told that the nitto grapplers have a better life span and better road handling, which will be the primary use of the H3, any put in on that?

Does anyone honestly know the differences between Rancho and TC? I've seen both kits in person and they look the same, really. They both work in the same way, and no parts look stronger or weaker than the other.
I'm skeptical you may just be paying for the Rancho name, but that's just me. I would love to see some concrete differences.
edit: Also Rancho says 3" and TC says 4", is there really a 1" difference?
edit edit: The rancho kit also does not come with shocks, which jacks the price up even more....a TC kit can be had for $1,400 with new leaf springs, AND shocks. The Rancho kit comes in at about $2,400 without shocks. I really wish I had that kind of disposable income, but I just don't.

Hey Draketh, Well i found a site that has the Rancho with shocks for about 2,500 not sure exactly but it was more/less around that, and with the shocks they have a 500 rebate. so maybe out the door 2,100 compared to the TC kit 1,400 i rather go with the rancho, but if there is no significant difference in the two kits, I guess i would go towards the TC.

Look at the 2 kits. Read the installation manuals for both kits. Read owners opinions of both kits. Contact both the manufacturers and ask about their kits (not about the competitions kits) and you will know why the Rancho is more $.
