Which is the best touch screen stereo for the H3?? Make/Model which will fit just perfect into the front console. I cant find any in the market!!

 

This place can usually outfit anything.....A little pricey IMO but hey if it works

Nothing will fit just perfect without a dash kit, but with a dash kit any single or double din on the market will fit. Use crutchfield to figure out what you need, don't buy from them unless you want to pay a 25% markup over Amazon or Google Shopping etc.

The 'best' touch screen in subjective based on what you want to pay, what features you want, etc. I have a Kenwood DNX9960, paid a premium for it, but couldn't be happier.

OEM monsoon system...perfect...if u find a used one..

 

I had no problems installing my Kenwood DNX7160 and it works great! I found everything else that I needed on eBay. Like the GMOS-01 so that the Onstar/door chime would still work, OEM wire harness to avoid cutting vehicle wires, and the Kenwood Sirius adapter. I bought the double-din dash kit at WalMart.

 

Right now the best in breed I think are the pioneer AVIC head units specifically the Z130BT. But it really depends on the feature sets you want. All the full screen devices are the same basic build internally and only the software and screens seem different.

 

I've got the Avic 700Bt. It's the second vehicle I've had it in and works great with the Monsoon system and the bluetooth. It did lock up completely a few months ago but did some research and in about an hour had it back up with new software and working even better.
