Default Best short antenna?

I hate this ugly long antenna that wiggles and hit everywhere lol
I been looking online for short antennas they comes in 6 and 12 inches and they come different brands, which height and brand you folks recommend that will get me awesome reception and nice look???

short usually means compromise so they probably wont be as good as what you got now.
years ago i lost an ant on a 64 merc and tied a tiny wire to the stub, taped it over to the windshield,up ans around the edge.ly inspired the "in windshield" antennas that showed up on all new cars for years!
u could try that, black tape doesnt show on the edge.
u could run a lot under the black trim too. out of sight.

I put a 14" Antenna X antenna on just after I bought my H3. No problems with reception & looks good. You can also get a short rubber antenna at most of the auto part stores for under $10. They tend to get a rearward permanent lean from wind resistance but otherwise work well.

let me know how well it works I'm looking for a good short antenna also....preferably one you don't have to take off before you go into the car wash or it gets bent.

Doesn't XM radio goes through the OnStar antenna? Might have to make a switch over.

on* goes thru cell towers, uhf, fm and am use the 'long" ant.
30 inches is actually best for fm and am reception is a miracle with a short ant. it depends on high power am transmitters!

oh, xm must go thru the cell ant, xm is satellite, uhf.
i unhooked my on* ant and still get connected when near a cell tower, hard to kill!!
