Default Best place to buy off road rims + tires?

Who has the best prices? Mainly on tires? Tire prices are nuts...like 2 - 3 times the cost of rims. lol

got mine at rimzoneonline . No tax and free shipping. they'll even mount/balance if you get the rims/tires on one order.... but i think they charge like, $80 for that. They also have pre built packages. Great place

Wow really good prices on packages. Do they let you pick rims and tires separately? I'm not seeing anywhere on their site to do this.

On their homepage, hover over "Brands", and choose your wheels, then tires. you can then add whatever you pick to your cart, then add on any extras you want (mount/balance, TPMS, etc)

I live in mid-Michigan, about an hour east of Bay City and about two hours north of Detroit. The guy who does the paint/body/cosmetics on all my vehicles also builds custom hot rods and restores classic muscle cars. His work is nearly in the same class as Foose or Coddington, just without the notoriety (although he is gaining a lot of attention around the midwest and was just at SEMA in Vegas with one of his hot rods). He has built hot rods that sell easily in the 6 figure (+) range.

I was astonished when he told me that I should go to Discount Tire (a specific location in Bay City, MI). I have since purchased the Nitto/Cepek combo for our H3 and Weld Wheels/Mickey Thompson combo for our Camaro. Their prices are in line with prices I see at the online outlets, plus they give me lifetime balance, rotation and other "extras". Loyalty to them has already paid off with special pricing for tires on my pick-up and the wife's Escape.
