Only use Mobil 1, full synthetic since 1993 when GM mandated synth, and strongly suggested Mobil 1 for the C4 vette. Hummer purrrrs on it. My C8 new vette calls for it too.
For FL, I would go to 10w-40 from my usual 5W-30.
Forget the gimmick oils, the additives, etc. No long life oil. Change it when the H2 tells you to. And do not use crap filters.
