Default Best Cold Air Intake for 3.7 H3?

I know this topic has been discussed many times here before but I would like to know what other H3 owners suggest would be the best CIA system to install on my hummer that will give the best HP gains?

I would also like an honest response if the CIA does make a notisable improvement on the overall performance of the 3.7L engine?

The Volant CAI made a very noticeable difference in the acceleration and sound of my H3. If you just look at the piping and dimensions of the Volant airbox it's not hard to tell it's making a difference in power. No change in gas mileage but a big gain in performance, IMHO.

The AirDocIntake. You won't find a better quality, more reasonably priced, Hummer tough system anywhere.

Hi Doc

The reviews here seem to be pretty impressive, Considering this will be my first "mod" I really wanted something that will just give me that little extra power I need, Not so worried about the fuel consumption.

Please can you tell me how much the shipping will be to
State: Gauteng
Country: South Africa

haven't used Doc's setup but I personally like the K&N...you can get the complete system for $200 with a filter and really adds a punch...also has a great sound!

So Doc's set-up is not for '08's?

I made my own CAI using the K&N filter and shapeable ducting. Very easy DIY.

ORIGINAL: TexH3

So Doc's set-up is not for '08's?
Not the current model. I have prototyped a H3 2008, it is being tested, but since there are NO Performance Air Filters for the 2008 available, in fact you cannot even buy a GM delco at the dealer as of last week, I will not sell them until a filter is available. I want to personally test the 2008 AirDocIntake with a high flow performance type filter first. As soon as you/I/we can find an aftermarket filter, I'll have them ready. I will also be doing a kit for the 2008 Alpha, same problem because the 2008 H3s all use the same panel filter. [&o]
