This saturaday a woman with a mercedes didn't see the stop , didnt see me ( classic , you dont see a orange hummer)

Poor lady . Mercedes suffer from the fender , bumber , hood and maybe some other mechanical problems , plus airbags deploy .

H2 only a scratch on the fender ...

Anyway it hurts ... now at shop for fixing

That sucks...glad you weren't hurt...kinda funny her Benz has so much damage & you have just a scratch...lol

I will post a pix today ... She hit me on the passenger side corner of fender and I hit her with the black metal under the bumper ...

In other words the poor benz goes under the strongest part of the front bumper .

In fact she try to run away and accelerate for half block but one of the wheels was stuck on the fender ... She said she get nervous and hit the gas instead the brake

Unfortunately I wasnt carrying my cell to take pictures of the benz ... I will post mine today later .../

BTW no one get serious hurts ... Oh yes Mercedes get hurts ...Poor lady ....

I will tell the second part of the story in a couple days ( after the cop show up and ...)

 

^after the cop showed up and ticketed her for trying to bust a hit and run.......pushed the gas instead of the brake....rrrrright

that sucks, new grill guard and hood?? Make them replace the whole dang hood screw fixing it!

 

Just got an update from the collision shop today ... They said that the fender-hood is fiberglass which is reparable, better than replace it cause you don't loose the factory paint and the difference between the new paint and old will be almost imperceptible .

Also they told me that Hummer parts are getting hard to get , fortunately only parts to replace is the black plastic covering the inside fender and the front grill which is a aftermarket part .

most possible 9-10 days

in the middle time we are using a rent accord ...way tooooo small for our taste

Total cost for the repair $3500 ... WOW
Sooo expensive cause I take it to the bodyshop on same place I buy it . One of the biggest Cadillac & GM dealers down here .
