thx i'm gonna give it a try. wish they would have made it a bit stronger maybe then i wouldn't have to bend it back... then again it be much harder to bend back so it is what it is

That's nuts my dealer will correct anything I do to my truck in the course of my driving off-road. The last time we went to Wharton, my side mirror came out just from me bending my mirrors in with my hand and they put a whole new one on at no cost to me.

it's easy to straighten if you have it off and have a hard packed or concrete driveway.
step 1. lay it sideways in front of your front tire with some 1/4" pieces of plywood under each end where it touches the ground, centered on the front tire.
step 2. drive forward.
step 3. drive backwards.
step 4. pick up cage and put it back on the truck.
this will also bend it down slightly, without misaligning the mounting holes, to keep it a bit further away from the exhaust. i've done this quite a few times, but i also added some 1/8" nylon spacers between the cage and frame on the 3 rear mouting holes.

wow i just saw the picks... you got it a bit worse but at least it's nothing that can't be easily fixed with a few beers and a hammer [8D]

I owe shorty.... I put the end that mounts to the torsion bar crossmember on a 2x4.... and drove over and back.... it was pretty good...
