Just judging by the pictures you took, it looks like the H1's did well in the soft stuff, due to CTIS no doubt, but it didn't look like the H2's did so well, or at least that red one. How did the H3's do? The only pic you have is one shooting little rooster tails. Did he make it to the top?

I think I would give the nod to the H1's, due to the center of gravity for one thing.

And the H3 drivers did most excellent, dont judge by my pics..LOL!

And I guess, the H2 had the most trouble, but I dont know if was due to the H2 or the sand driving experience of the driver.

what does CTIS have to do with an H1 doing well in the sand? All the H2s aired down prior to hitting the dunes, as did the H3s, and there were quite a few H1s hitting the same dune 2 or 3 times before getting over the top. there was even an H1 recovery. judging the H2 from 1 photo is like saying all apples are crap because the only one you had in your life had a worm in it. all 3 models represented themselves well on this trip, and each excelled based on the experience of the driver. what you don't see in the pic of the red H2 that's stuck is his 2 small kids in the back. safer to get stuck and be pulled out than get stupid and hurt a passenger.

soapbox back in storage.

how do you get pics to show up full size, instead of those silly little thumbnails?

Well, I am the wrong person to ask that question shortbus..LOL!

But from my experience, I click on the thumbnail, to enlarge it and THEN copy the URL once it is enlarged, not in thumbnail mode.

That seems to work for me...

Which gives me an opportunity to post my new pics of the lightrs installed by Rich at Pismo this weekend.....

BTW, I have a photobucket account, which enables me to upload pictures easily, its free, and I just copy/paste the IMG file directly from photobucket into my posts.

looks good, all you need now is for the DRLs to come on with the headlights. a $.69 diode from radio shack, 10 minutes under the hood and they're done.

this H2 made it over the top ok. looks familiar.
